TheBanyanTree: Flamingos

Does anyone remember what happened to the pink flamingos that migrated from
the 2001 Tree Fling in Burnett on 23-24 JUN? They went home with me, and
Dee offered to host the next gathering, and we traced their migration
through UPS's package tracking site back to Oregon. I wasn't able to make
that one, and lost contact with those birds.

I was reminded of them a while back when passing through Buna TX, and across
the road from the infamous polka dot house

dropped down out of the blue to feed on the acorns in these people's
yard-must have been nearly a hundred of them. Made me wonder of our two
ever got feral and joined such a flock again.

Anyway, just wondering about Tree Flings and the like. It was 19 years ago
this week that I made the Winter Pilgrimage to Galveston in the Tangerine
Dream. Gonna have to go back there before the new semester starts.
