I never learned to suffer fools gladly. In fact, my parents tried, but
I got the wrong end of the stick.
I thought you had to gladly make fools suffer.
Well, I have escalated. I encourage youngsters who are feeling their
way into that role. This is my message to a young lady who posted a
contact for a group who support those wishing to die, in dignity, at
home, when their time came. She expressed concern that she might offend.
*Expletive that*, I thought. But I was polite: for me.

Off list. Brava!
I am sure it will get up the noses of one or two nosey individuals--and
provide solace to a larger number of quiet, desperate and needy
individuals, of whom, I am glad to say, I am not yet one--neither
vicariously nor directly.
But one of these days, I may have that need.
Stay strong, do what is right, and ignore the squeaks of the eunuchs
because the poor dears can't do much more than squeak, you see!
If you need guidance, treading on their toes is always a good start.
Stomping on their noses is more fun, even if it muffles the squeaks.
