TheBanyanTree: Reading

Very nice story, and how wonderful of your son to give you that
compliment, Dale. It's the kind of thing we all hope to hear from our
kids when they are grown. "I have good memories of you doing this for
me." Whatever "this" is.

I don't know, Kitty. I read to my kids every night from infant to the
point where we were reading chapters of chapter books. They always
loved to be read to. But neither of them are big readers now at 18 and
21. Makes me so sad. Maybe they will come back to it someday. I
can't imagine a life not filled with books, and yet I know many people
who very rarely read.
