Every time I posted a poem to TBT, I could count on getting a little
note from Dee.  She wouldn't just say 'I liked your poem' - she told
me -why- she liked it, and how it made her feel.  And you can guess
how that made me feel.

Invariably, she would also ask - 'will this one be included in Mikey's
Big Book of Poems?'  She kept that possibility in front of me.  Her
Amazon review was one in a long line of meaningful kindnesses to
others - that's how Dee rolled.

I'm still processing the departure of this lovely person, as I'm sure
many others are.  I count myself as fortunate to have known her, and
to have met her.
