Our paper down here in Victoria advised us, this weekend, that there is 
a new addition to the lexicon of lifestyles. Forget yuppie, there are 
now "cubbies", and I think this will be very local to Australia. A "cub" 
is a "cashed up bogan".  Someone from the burbs with no style or 
sophistication in manner or dress, who is now moving in on the moneyed 
classes but maintaining their bogan ways.  I guess this translates into 
someone moving to Toorak but still wearing their flannel shirts, 
listening to AC/DC up loud and getting pis**d on VB on the weekends. 
Just with a nicer car in the garage?
