Glo,

People could openly discuss them if they could manage not to be nasty
and damage relationships with it.  You have the nicest manners and I
can't imagine you stating any possible opinion in a way that would
offend another human being.  Other people are not so skilled or not so
caring, and that is where the pain of these rants come in.  Is is
about the sharing of thoughts or the punishing of those who don't
agree with us?  Motives vary from person to person.  I'm pretty sure
that if these things could be discussed, rather than flung at people,
it would be a different matter.  It's about respect and people lose
their sense of kindness and compassion awfully quickly when it comes
to politics.

It's not about censorship, because censorship would be the removal of
posts to the list based on content.  Sachet is trying to encourage
people to care about the feelings of others.  That can never be a bad
thing.
