TheBanyanTree: harvest moon

Inspired by Gloria and Al,
sittin' up on Lake Huron somewhere,
watching the moon rise.
   maybe forever will never show up,
or maybe it's over too soon
sittin' with you on the edge of the shore,
watchin' the harvest moon
 sometimes the water is smooth as glass,
and sometimes the waves are so high
I'll take what life hands me if I can just watch
that old moon shine in your eyes
 full moon's light is witching the wavetops,
but the spell is broken too soon
so sit here with me on the edge of the water
and watch that old harvest moon.
