Two cats they went a trippin'
on journeys as different as different can be
for cats, you see, like people
have their own personality

For one cat went all mellow
and its world was a wonderful place
but the other cat turned a crude fellow
its behavior quite a disgrace

It hissed and spat 
it was no cool cat
not the Cat in the Hat
it was more like a rat

For one cat truly found its verve 
the other became a bundle of nerve
one cat became a true tune hummer
the other experienced a stone cold bummer
