Who rowses me from slumbers?

Sing your song of integers
Laud them to your sky
But I prefer the hard ones
Let's hear a shout for i!

If you like transcendental
That's all the same to me
But I prefer to talk with
A cosy chunk of e.

Fibonacci gave us
A series we could try
Don't whine that it is integral
For he will thunder "Phi!"

Those bitsy numbers suffer,
Poor tau, and rho and sigma
Why should they have to suffer
Cruel numeric stigma?
