My muse is contemplating words.....

Kitten eyes behold the world
She's such a tiny fluffy girl

Jolie patting my fingers as I type
She sees "toys" with which to play
Pouncing, nibbling, scampering away

Purring when she sees my face
Mewing to be cuddled close
We whisper together nose to nose

She makes me smile with her funny quirks
Three whole pounds of huntress fierce
Razor sharp claws with which to pierce
Anything and everything that she thinks lurks

Fingers, toes, rugs and tails
The whirling dervish knows no bounds
If it moves, it'll be pounced
Until she tuckers herself out

Finally, she's taking a nap
Soft and warm upon my lap
