candy
is dandy but
PIE
is quite dear.

they trundle out
bundles
of custard
at a restaurant

that's dessert?
I am 
hurt
'tis PIE that I want

throw your cake
in the lake
your eclairs 
stir no lust

try your jello?
my dear
fellow
I'm a man of the crust

ala mode? breaks
my code - I'm a
purist,
I cry

coffee, hot from the
pot
is the best thing
with PIE

a slice is
quite nice
but 
half is divine

the rest I'll
ingest
for my breakfast,
at nine.
