TheBanyanTree: Lost souls

Random thoughts chasing round and round in my head.  I'm needing to get them sorted out.... 

The challenges coming to me 
as I sit at my desk
have got me to wondering 
if this is some kind of test

They're the toughest of men
on an ordinary day 
just hard working guys 
that have now lost their way

Here they sit with tear-filled eyes
sharing their story of life gone wrong
searching for some kind of clue
wondering now if they belong

I sit and listen with attentive ears
can't seem to deliver the magical word
it then becomes clear of what I must do
and for them that sit it goes unheard
 
Here I find myself solemnly praying 
asking God to take his hand
help him to see that life is worth living
and carry him gently until he can stand

Glo...asking that all of you give a heartfelt smile to your co-workers today... they may need it more than you ever dreamed they did....
