Oh, I'm so happy to hear from you!  Yes, I remember clearly a Cracker Barrel in Florida, sharing a lovely meal with hubby, Sachet and you!  I do miss those I've met the most... and those are quite a few.  Please write whatever you can whenever you can and share.

As I recall it was a Scout Report in May '96.  Early May.  This was in the days of WOW!!! I gots a new 14.4 modem for only $200 for my 486/DX2.  Whooooo!

Yeah, the computer with the $800 80Mb hard drive that became a paperweight when the motherboard smoked.  I lost everything because ya know what?  Tape back-ups seem to work and take 15 hours to copy and compare and then don't restore.

So much money into the trash can.  Oh well.

This would be about the time we pulled Ethernet from the house to the EDC and I wired the house.  Heh.  Networking with Windows 3.11 was a rush...  just getting the shit to work.  :)

Anyway, Dan, lurking is ok.  Really.  Someday you might get the urge to write something.

How are Erin and Freddie Wolfegang?
