TheBanyanTree: The Banyan Tree group on Facebook

Okay! I've set up a group called The Banyan Tree on Facebook - called "The
Banyan Tree". Hopefully this link will help you identify it:

It's a closed group at the moment, which means the administrator(s)
(currently me) need to approve requests to join.

What do you guys think about that? Would you prefer an open group? I'm
just concerned that there is a lot of private and personal information
shared with the Tree and it might be prudent to have a little bit of
control. There are some things I have told the group in the past that I
would not tell many of my friends!

However, I will also check what actions the Administrators can take - if
posts can be easily deleted or people kicked off if they are just being
troublesome, it might not be an issue being an open group.

Also - I think it would obviously be good to have more than one
administrator! I don't think there is a limit on the number of
administrators, but I won't know for sure till people join up and I try
designating members as administrators. There is also an "Officer'
classification, no idea what that is at the moment.

Any volunteers to be administrators??

Also - I had to write a description of the group so I put something in, but
I am MORE than happy to change it!! Please let me know what you would like
me to put in there. I'm sure we had one originally, but I have changed
computers a number of times and lost emails so can't recall it.

Cheers,

Anita
