I lost my dad to lung cancer on December 16th, so I empathize and 
sympathize. 

And my thoughts, prayers and energies go to his family tonight.  I never 
met him in person, but I certainly have read his input over the years 
I've been on the Spoon and now the Banyan Tree. 

My sympathies are with his family and friends...
