An edge of pre-occupation and nervousness.  Clutching at
chances to worry, like I have a need to keep an eye on threats,
negative possibility more than positive certainty.  I have a
warm cup of coffee within reach.  Peace, quiet, comfort, warmth
in my owned home, with a good woman.  So, why isn't my muse
amused with all this clear and present reality?   Sure, there
is radical change and ultimately death in the distance that
cannot be avoided, but I can only bring that future closer,
worsened and re-experienced with the power of imagination, and
obscure the the heaven I believe I'm breathing in.  There are
magnitudes of people on board with far more means and power
than I, wanting to stop this train wreck.  I'll hoist that cup
of java and encourage the engineers.
