TheBanyanTree: Morning Showers

One of the highlights of my recent trip to NC and GA was RAIN!!!! Out here,
central CA, we're near the end of our 6 months of unremitting sunshine. It
was heavenly to go to sleep at night with windows open and the sound of
gentle rain falling on the roof and the trees. Of course the downpours were
not pleasant, especially when driving, but the showers were worth putting up
with those.

Thanks for reminding me again why I miss my mountains, Sheri! A beautiful
piece of writing.
