The new model has stronger brakes than usual, the inflation of the tyres 
is low but subject to change, and in line with 2008, the new black is 
once again schadenfreudian gilt.

As gearing is now a dirty word, there is no reverse gear, but 
authorities say that if the brakes are operated hard enough, everything 
will go into reverse and pull to the right.

The fireworks, a metaphor for the local economy, going up in hot air 
with a lot of panache, were good.

Plus ça change from Australia . . .
