That Fred was the luckiest dog ever, to spend such rich, contented earth-time with you.  My heart goes out to you completely.

I've conferred with various psychics and seers over the years.  A couple that talk to the dead.  Some who are so convincing, I don't even waste energy doubting the possibilites any more.  

They all say they can see former pets -- dogs, and, rarely, cats -- around us as angels.  Still keeping us company and looking out for our safety.

I doubt that Fred would ever leave you. Tt's good he no longer has to contend with the Texas heat to hang out with you.
