Tomorrow morning I meet with the president of Company of Angels theatre group to plan the benefit for Adam that is scheduled for April1.  He and his Board of Directors are all aflutter and excited, and I hope I can get folks at Trader Joe's to take part and help with the same kind of spirit.

Adam is still in ICU, with a haloed leg, collapsed lung, broken ribs, and wired jaw.  He'll need facial reconstruction, eventually.  He was so handsome, too.  (I know.  A stupid, senseless thing to say.)

The Victims of Violent Crimes Board will pay up to $70,000 in medical bills and lost wages.  I'm thinking Adam's bils will be a lot higher.

It's been a tough while in L.A.  All my friends seem to be experiencing major depressions.  Even the shallow ones are depressed -- the ones that aren't complicated and sensitive or insightful at all.  This makes me think it must just be in the air.

I'm having major blues, humming at the base with a low-level anxiety.  Very weird.   Let's hope it passes (through all of us) quickly.
