I'm on the wing today
drifting under the clouds
over the city streets,
over houses and crowds
I'm just a bird today
sailing home to my tree
I may be dreaming but I'll just let the dream be

I'm wrapped in green today
branches swayed by the breeze
out in the forest lands
a tree among the trees
I have no memory
feeling only the sun
I may be dreaming but I'll just let the dream run

I'm going to float away
drifting over the sands
I've never breathed the air
I've never seen the land
I'm just a fish today
far away from the shore
I'm just a dream today, a dream and nothing more
