TheBanyanTree: Hand Held

Caught a moment of the Today show this morning....ok, ok, more than a
moment. Saw President Bush in his meeting with the Saudi Prince, or
whatever title the man is, strolling somewhere in Saudi Arabia. Saw the
President holding hands with the Prince. President Bush had outsies.
His paw held top court to the Prince's paw. Whaddya make of that? Does
it mean he reached for the Prince's hand first or that the Prince
relinquished and succumbed to insies of his own accord? If that is the
case, does it mean something like a Great Dane rolling over and showing
his belly to a toy poodle? Is it some secret sign that gas prices will
go 'up' as in the state of his palm in the insie position? Perhaps the
order of who is in charge based on the position of the hand holding is
opposite there from here? President Bush's fingers appeared relaxed but
it surely was not a natural look for him and I have to wonder if his paw
was sweaty or if perhaps his aides had sprayed it with some
anti-perspirant so as to not embarrass the entire country by gripping
the Prince with a dewy palm. And although the kiss and hug weren't
shown on television I can only imagine that they were properly applied
as is the custom of that land between men. Whew, this is going to take
a lot of thought and perhaps a committee. Perhaps Condie will head the
chair...?
Someone should really look into this.
