Yeah, such an old song to be echoing in my head.  Like the flower needs the
rain....

Bev is off-list.  Why?  Because I'm not the only list-owner.  <smile>  I just
tend to be the most forgiving of foo paws and such.  :)   But others are much
quicker to react to a "unsub me" message.  That's cool with me.    Anyway, she
got here somehow, she can find her way back, eh?

So, what is  the e~e up to?  Running a register at the local grocery store for
$7 an hour.  Sure, I'm "over qualified" what with having a MCSE and all.  But
I like the job because I go, I do my time, I go home.  There is no worry about
how to drum up business and failing that, getting by on $100 income for the
month.   I like messing with customers.  They like messing back:  I have
"regulars" already.  So the grocery biz is ok.  For now.

The itch is there.... between customers I'm poking buttons on the register's
keyboard....  it's all very locked down, but.  :)
