HAPPINESS IS A PIECE OF CAKE

Happiness is a piece of cake....chocolate cake with chocolate icing
with Ruby Red  Comstock pie cherries poured over it served with a glass
of icy cold milk.

Happiness is fresh strawberry shortcake made with real butter pound
cake and strawberries freshly picked from the fields cured with sugar
bringing out the juices and topped with real whipped cream.

Happiness is hot-milk cake iced with whipped cream and fresh shredded
coconut.

Happiness is angel food cake so fresh that you can squish it into a
ball in your hand and it is still light enough to pop into your mouth
and have it melt on your tongue.

Happiness is pineapple upside down cake with extra brown sugar and real
butter seeping into every crevice of the cake and eating it while still
warm with tea and honey.

Happiness is a cool, multi-colored poke cake made with Jell-O gelatin,
fresh from the fridge, iced with cold Cool Whip on a hot summer day with
pink lemonade.

Happiness is a mini-cupcake so fresh from the oven that the icing melts
onto your fingers before you can pop it into your mouth.

....and happiness is watching the grins on the faces of the children as
I serve them up a big slice of this cake or that, each and every one.
