TheBanyanTree: Missing You All

Never fear, Banyanites! I'm in my second day back in Denver, and you might
well be hearing from me sooner than you think!

I have been able to read your words out on the road, but not send any of my
own in return. Alls the pity! There were clever reactions to many of your
letters I wanted to launch. There'd they be, crashing through the cosmos to
you. Lighting your lives (sigh!).

Well, I'll tell you what. . .tonight, come hell, or even if I get a little
high (NOT on water, though). I'll do my best to send off a reprint of
something created in the past and seen in these very branches before.
Something I received a lot of mail about, and something that you liked. I'll
choose well.

In the meantime, take care of all those cats I've wanted to comment upon,
and the gardens I've read about (the Denver trees are already eye-searing
golden and so vividly scarlet one has trouble catching
one's breath upon viewing them from the living room windows of my eyrie
above the city. I'll bet it's incredible above me in the Rockies!), and for
gosh sakes, I sure do miss Pecan Papa!

Poor Tobie probably won't even speak to me when I do write. I don't blame
her!

I'll send something to read with coffee tomorrow morning, I promise.

                                        MartyV (that travelin' Man!)
