As my boys get older, and begin to mature, some weird things come out 
of their mouths.

They are obsessed with Harry Potter, Star Trek, and GI Joe.  Not 
necessarily in that order.  Because of that, their imaginative play 
takes on new looks and sounds.

GI Joe's jet pack is actually a warp drive pack, so he can go faster 
than light.  His gun is either a wand, for doing spells, or a phaser, 
depending on his needs.  His boots may or may not have rockets, skates, 
or skis hidden inside the soles.  Helmets have night vision, or 
infrared, or whatever magical thing they've invented in the last day or 
so.

Today we were all outside in this beautiful weather, me working on our 
soon to be patio (right now it's a mud pie with big rocks in it), and 
the boys playing with their GI Joes.  Rob was listing all the magical, 
futuristic, very kewl things that his gear could do, while Matt sat 
quietly getting his GI Joe ready for combat.  Rob went quiet for a 
moment, then asked, "Matt, what does your Joe's watch do?"

Matt looked at Rob with concern and replied, "It tells him the time, 
DUH!"
