I've had enough
can't you see 
I can't stand this stuff?

Not one more 
not another line
or I swear I'll have to
write one of mine

then you'll be sorry
you'll surely regret
making me send this 
poem to forget

you did it again
I know you would
it's all just driving
me back to the hood

I escaped the pi(e) 
the numbers game too
grumpy hippies like me
just don't cuddle and coo

on paper we're radical
and likely to vent
to get outta line 
tell 'em all to get bent

the 60's are over
jfk dead and done
I am jealous of poems
and innocent songs

So let's get it done
I've had enough
can't you see
