When I was growing up I heard a statistic that every fifteen minutes a
person was hit and killed by a train. I believe the latest stat is every two
hours. But today marks the anniversary of the tragic death of an American
legend who's life, as presented by John Stienbeck, has influenced me more
than anyone. If anyone reading this hears a train whistle today, please take
a moment to let it remind you of Ed Rickets...
