<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Listen up all you Fibro sufferers out there, you'll
find this something to keep in the back of your mind.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>In my right eye, in the white, it has been blood
shot for about 6 weeks now. My regular eye doctor, said it was
inflamed. There was no drainage, it didn't hurt, it just felt like there
was too much eye for the socket and felt tight, is the best way I could explain
it. And it looked so bloody glowing red and UGLY. So after battling
wits with him over the fact, well I do have FMS and that is not random as to
which organs it decides to attack during a flare up, could it be that??
noooooo, he said over and over again. He put me on steroid drops which
were really burning strong and told me to come back if it didn't clear up.
Guess what, it didn't. So he sent me up the road about an hour to a
specialist.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>By now, I'm pissed. I just hate being talked
down to and I hate having any kind of med in my body that isn't natural.
So I did some research and cleared my mind and focused. After a 45 minute
appt with just myself and the doctor, on a one on one level. He thanked
me. He said for once it was refreshing having a patient in his office that
he could talk on the same level with. All of my patients were down at this
level, but you, you were right up here with me. You are certainly well
educated(it was so damned hard not to burst out in laughter over that
one).</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>He went on to say how the white part of the eye is
like a cartliage(you know the shiny part at the end of a chicken bone) and it
definately appears that I have arthritus in it. So we discussed a lil more
and here was the final output.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>After spending $130 for this specialist to tell me
what I had already believed and having for once a doctor that was willing to
listen and talk, It would appear that my eye was a direct attack of this FMS
flare up. It will eventually go away after the flare up subsides but like
we all know, it will for ever now be a delicate organ for a possible future
flare up.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So, just wanted you all to know if all the sudden
you get a swollen eye, looking all bloody, but no drainage, no cut or any object
stabbing it or flying into it, and if you have Fibro, you might want to take
this mental note out and read over it.</FONT></DIV>
