Enjoyed going along in a words-ride with you there in Hawaii.  The
Earth's breathing demonstration was one of many of Gore's powerful
revelations in An Inconenient Truth.  Comforting to know that
environmental research hasn't yet been shut down in Hawaii/USA and we
Still exchange data with other countries.  Actually the story is pretty
much in front of us wherever we are and amounts to "look at your 
thermometer."
