You know, Paul, I was thinking about this just the other day. We DO tell
our stories, but in more brief, conversational styles. We used to do the
same thing in story form. Guess we evolved into Upper Branches because we
got more and more interested in one another, and our interwoven personal
lives, which I wouldn't trade for anything! Love you guys!!!

How many of us are in Upper Branches now...about 35 or so? We have some
excellent writers in here, and a bunch of "writer-wannabees" like me.
Somehow we should be able to combine the two forms: stories AND personal
stuff. Many of my own personal stories I wouldn't necessarily care to
share with 86 folks I don't know, but feel perfectly comfortable talking to
you guys about them.

So for stories, we could address them to Banyan Tree, and keep UB as
usual? I'd love to see some more Stories, fiction and non-fiction, told on
BT with replies perhaps going to UB with the BT subject line carried into
UB? Does that make sense?

That think you all?

Here's my first story...

After Thanksgiving Dinner with Debbie's inlaws, their son, my own son, and
me, I came home and crashed a little while. Answered an email from my Date
for tomorrow, followed by a nice phone call from him. We talked for an
hour! And I know with nary a doubt I will be greeted with a big hug
tomorrow afternoon in the middle of the coffee shop, rather than a
handshake!

Now. Would that be too personal to share with 86 folks, or just right for
35? 😱
