No single characteristic or experience or story defines a person.  We are 
all works in progress.   There are infinite layers of "truth."  There are 
infinite truths.  All are "half truths" at best.  A perceiver might define a 
person in terms of their own values and experience,  but that is more 
about the perceiver than the perceived.
