This reminds me of making Ranger Cookies. Almost everything can go in
the mixer - the butter, white and brown sugar, the eggs, flour,
oatmeal, chocolate chips, even the coconut - but when it comes to the
Rice Krispies (I actually use Coco-Krispies), those must be gently
mixed in by hand. Crunching up the krispy cereal defeats the purpose,
so I plunge my (clean) hands in the bowl and incorporate them evenly.
I can't say I've noticed whether the butter softens my hands....
Okay, now I want cookies....
