I followed your journal throughout the time of Stew's illness, and I  
remember the local homeless folks, many of them "nam vets who still fight the  
war. and others battling their own demons, living on the streets and in  
cardboard boxes. Stew was one of the lucky ones; he had someone. 
 
I thank you for posting his journey, for it reminds me to be a little  
kinder to those who are "different" who are battling the unseen battles, and  
those who are intellectually challenged (I was a former special ed teacher and 
 also knew the hardships and meaness they suffered).  
 
Keep telling Stew's story.  One day, there may be something come to  light 
to help folks like him.
