I like your style, Linda.  That was a very sisterly thing to do.

I love the story my MIL tells of when she was young and living at home.  She
was one of six girls and at tea time on Sundays, even when they had
visitors, they would each choose the cakes and sandwiches they wanted to
eat, set them around their place, then spit on each of them to put the
others off stealing them. ( I never said she was couth, did I?)
