TheBanyanTree: Sad story

I join Julie in finding a quiet place. In her way and at just the right
time, Dee touched me deeply. I think of her often and will miss her
immensely.

A few years back, as Linda and I were passing through Bandon, Dee insisted
that we spend the night in her home on the lake. We talked and talked and of
course had coffee. Linda went to bed as Dee and I talked well into the night
. . . discussing many of you.

Dee had a large collection of telephone line insulators varying in color and
style. Before leaving in the morning, she gave me a perfect one. I cherish
it and the lovely lady who gave it value.

Oh wow . . . . the memories going back to early Spoon days are flooding over
me.

Jim

A short story for a very sad occasion. Dee Churchill, long a favorite and
much loved member of our Tree, passed away in her sleep last night.

I don't know what else to say, but I miss her already.
