>From a December 1975 letter to my mother and father: 

"Larry [their grandson] is coming right along.  He's all excited 
about 'Crimess.' Bought him a 1/2 size guitar -a real one.  He 
was impressed when I played it.  It sounded like the big one.  
We went to the beach the other day and out of the blue he 
asked me, 'Do you like me?'  I said 'Yep.'  He said 'Why?'  I 
said 'Cause you're my little boy.'  I asked him in return, 'Do 
you like me?'  He said. 'Yes.'  When I asked him why, he said,
'Buzz you're my little daddy.'"
