Is what the calendar says at work.

Easy.  Just snip the 31 from another month and add a bit of glue....


What has really made this fun is that folks don't exactly pay attention 
to a lot of stuff.  For example, Ma Kettle comes to the counter to cash 
a check for cash.  She asks the date, I point at the calendar and tell 
her it's the 28th.  She looks at the calendar and gets a puzzled look.

Repeat several times.


It helps the prank along that the Post Office was extra efficient this 
month.  So all the SS and Pension checks arrived a couple of days early.

For extra fun, our ACR system has been updated.  So, if I punch in the 
date on the check, the system won't let me cash it.

Never mind that I've been cashing Mr. Oldman's check for the last four 
years.


Then someone adds a day to September.


Talk about messing with heads....


Yes, some folks caught the joke.  Depressingly few, though.
