TheBanyanTree: Never Keeping Score

This may be a repeat for some BT'ers. :)

Never keeping score
(True friendship)

One mutual interest
one thing in common
often the beginning
of a great friendship

Differences are learned
one by one
accepted by each
agreeing to disagree
and as times passes
thoughts and deeds
not always agreed with
are respected

Trust comes next
with your life and loves
your secrets and your dreams
You can argue safely now
and not destroy
a tender friendship

Mixed in well
is the caring
for each other's whole being
quirks and foibles notwithstanding
And to solidify that whole
is the Being There
for each other
at any time and any place
never keeping score.
