Ned and Sparki dog
had quite the romp in the snow
round the cul-de-sac

Snowballs shake windows
"Who's a good, good, dog?" and "WOOF!"
Slip, roll, laugh, jump, bark

A six-paw flurry
bumbles all into the house
Noses chill my neck

if he spent less time proving he can outwit nature
