This reminds me that I forgot to mention a very important fact in my 
earlier story.  It was my dad who taught me how to knit.  He and Rosie 
Greer--men knitters.  I guess the best thing my parents ever did for 
me, besides teaching me a few domestic arts, was not to hold me to any 
kind of stereotype.
