TheBanyanTree: The Stash

Ray and I are getting ready for our Panama Canal cruise.

I started tanning at the beginning of March and I’m finally looking like I’m
tan instead of just beet red.

I looked through my summer clothes and bought additional T-shirts, dresses,
and shorts. I also bought a new pair of dress shoes this week. I bought
new bras and underwear. I bought a new swimming suit, too. A woman has to
look fresh, you know. Nothing like an upcoming vacation to spruce up the
wardrobe a bit.

I also bought Ray several new tropical shirts. I didn’t forget him.

The clothes are taken care of. What else do I need? Well, I need books to
read and I always bring a stash of books with me. I need my music and I
almost have most of my CD collection stashed on my ipod. I’m debating
whether or not to bring my laptop computer. They have computers on the
ship, but they charge by the minute to use them. I don’t want to go on the
internet, but I would like to do some writing. In the past, I’ve taken a
journal with me and wrote by hand. But my hands get so tired of handwriting
and my writing is barely legible now.

Ray bought walkie-talkies for the cruise. Usually, we say we’re going to
meet at such and such a place at such and such a time. Now, we can keep
track of each other better with the walkie-talkies. He also bought a pair
of binoculars that take pictures. So, we’ll have our stash of cameras with
us. I’ll have my SLR, Ray will have the digital and the binoculars. I bet
those binoculars will take some great pictures of the Canal.

Sex is important on vacations, and it’s really important on a cruise. The
sun and the sea and the sunrises and the sunsets and the food and the
entertainment all contribute to a romantic and sexy atmosphere. However, as
we have found on our previous cruises, it’s almost impossible to have sex,
because there’s so much to do. We almost have to “pencil it in” as we plan
our day. But this time, we’re ready, because Ray has his viagra stash.
