of hers had just died.  Now, it's for her.


You Are a Story

Today 
I did it
I read your letters to me
You might scold
but 
listen

I do it 
to make you
live 
again
even pain 
feels better 
than
nothing

you are 
tucked safely 
inside 
of me
locked in a
treasure chest 
defended
by my love 
for you
peeking under
the cover
your life
becomes
3-dimesional
here
you are--
in front of me.
With me.

you are 
still real
even 
unseen.
