Sorry, I know the rules.... tell a story. However, just in case there is some
unforeseen problem, I thought the Tree should know this. The change should be
transparent. Then again . . .

A couple of weeks ago, we deployed a new discussion list server featuring the
latest version of the Mailman software. New discussion list services have
been going onto the new server since then, and we are starting the process of
moving existing lists over to the new version. The move process is sensitive
as we do not want to lose any list mail during the migration and associated
DNS update. If you have existing discussion lists on the old discussion list
server and would like to volunteer to help us test the list migration process,
contact our support team and let us know. Any lists created more than 2 weeks
ago are probably on the old server. Once your lists have been migrated, you
will have access to features in the latest version of the Mailman software.

Nice weather today. Too nice to stay inside and mess with the shop page on my
web site. The high was about 82, clear skies, dry air. Seems odd to have a
warm day with "winter light". I spent the day doing a chainsaw massacre on
the trees along the S on the road.... major pruning. I don't have sawdust
stuck all over my body. The branches have grown into the road so much they
almost hit my car. I have a couple of friends coming to visit in the next
month and they are pulling their 5th-wheel/gooseneck travel trailers. One
trailer is 32 feet long and pulled by a long bed Ford diesel. I don't know
how tall they are, I hope less than 14 feet. Ah, well, UPS is suppose to
bring a package tomorrow. I'll ask him how the branches clear his truck.
