I know what you mean, John. I've been stopped at a crossroads for years.
Yogi Berra's advice is, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it."

I'm not so sure that's good advice. With my luck, if I take it, it will
turn out to be a one way street leading to a cul-de-sac.
